ALD – Arbeidslivsdagene

Arbeidslivsdagene (ALD) is an event run by students at the UiB Faculty of Law. The main goal of the event is to give UiB Law students insight into the opportunities that their degree provides, as well as connect future employees with their potential employers.

The main events of ALD are the public and private career-days. During these days, different firms from both the public and private sector have stands in the Faculty’s main hall, and hold presentations in the faculty auditoriums. Many of the firms also have interviews for traineeships during the career-days. The career-days conclude with an event at one of Bergen’ s nightclubs, where the students get to know the firms representatives on a more personal level.

ALD is a joint effort between Juristforeningen i Bergen and ELSA Bergen. The leadership of ALD consists of seven representatives chosen at the Juristforeningen general assembly in the spring semester, as well as a representative from ELSA, chosen at their general assembly.

Fagstyret

Fagstyret is both a social and school-relevant society run by students from the Faculty of Law at the University of Bergen. We arrange different lectures that are relevant for our exams, as well as presentations that are of more general, societal interest.

We also arrange excursions and trips that everyone gets a chance to sign up for. Amongst other, we visit the Court of Appeal and the jail in Bergen. In October every year, twenty-five lucky students get picked to join us to Oslo for two days. The most popular destination is however our annual trip abroad, which will be arranged in the spring.

Injuria

Injuria is the student magazine at Dragefjellet. The magazine is run by the students from first to fifth grade, and it´s a great group to be in – both social and academic. The editorial staff meets every Thursday at 16.30 at the faculty, to talk about the next edition and current cases that can be written about. The content of the magazine vary from happenings at the school to bigger current news in the society. We welcome everyone to join us, and it is not required that you have experience from media before. If you have further questions about the group, please send an e-mail to redaktor@injuria.no
